Бюст Т. Хахлыновой

5 мая 1996 года торжественно открыт памятник отважной партизанке, защищавшей свободу родной степи от немецко-фашистских захватчиков.

Бесстрашная девушка сражалась в отряде командира Яковлева и погибла в неравном бою, застрелив из винтовки десятерых гитлеровцев. Тамара Хахлынова вместе с другими героями покоится у «Вечного огня». В 1965 году подвиг славной дочери калмыцкого народа высоко оценен орденом Отечественной войны I степени. Именем партизанки названы улицы городов и сел республики. Имя Тамары Хахлыновой носит Калмыцкий медицинский колледж. О ее подвиге слагают стихи, поют песни. Благодарные потомки возлагают цветы к памятнику-бюсту, помня о подвиге во имя свободы поколений.

Bust of T. Khakhlynova

On May 5, 1996, a monument to the brave partisan who defended the freedom of her native steppe from the Nazi invaders was solemnly unveiled.

The fearless girl fought in the detachment of commander Yakovlev and died in an unequal battle, shooting ten Nazis with a rifle. Tamara Khakhlynova, along with other heroes, rests at the "Eternal Flame". In 1965, the feat of the glorious daughter of the Kalmyk people was highly appreciated by the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree. The streets of cities and villages of the republic are named after the partisan. The name of Tamara Khakhlynova is the Kalmyk Medical College. They write poems and sing songs about her feat. Grateful descendants lay flowers at the bust monument, remembering the feat in the name of freedom of generations.
